Val du Charron Wine and Leisure Estate is an all-rounder destination offering luxury accommodation, wine tasting, two restaurants and a spa. The 45 hectare farm was purchased in 2006 by the Entwistle Family and has a winemaking history dating all the way back to 1699. We did the Reserve wine tasting at The Grillroom which includes your selection of any of the four wines on their list at R60 per person. The cheese platter we ordered deliciously complimented the wines and I’d highly recommend it. The estate also offers guided cellar and vineyard tours.
